Capbiotek - the Bretagne bio-booster where nature meets innovation. 

Thanks to its exceptional marine and agricultural resources, a unique greentech environment, a world-class agrifood sector, technological expertise and academic centers of excellence, the Bretagne region of France is a major biotech player in France and in Europe as a whole..

Our objectives:

• Develop biotech in Bretagne.
• Add value to our natural, agricultural and marine resources.
• Cross fertilize biotech with IT.
• Promote Bretagne's biotech sector internationally.

Our missions:

• Accelerate innovation
• Provide business development support to innovative companies (partner searching, funding, networking, etc.)
• Stimulate and federate Bretagne's key stakeholders in biotech.

Organizational structure:

Capbiotek is coordinated by Bretagne Développement Innovation and is structured into three skill sectors each of which is underpinned by a Regional Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer (Centre Régional d’Innovation et de Transfert de Technologies, CRITT).
